for the individual cost of the pilgrimage. There will be no
Commonwealth funding for travel.
Will

ADF
Catholic Chaplains (Priests) will be accompanying each group.

What
will the trip across the Pyreneese Mountains be like???
At
this stage, the French Military organisers have indicated that
we will be walking approximately 12-18 kilometres per day. Logistical
support will be provided by the French Military. Until we arrive
at the French-Spanish border, accommodation will be tentage
with limited facilities. It will not be a touristy sightseeing
pilgrimage as offered by many civilian dioceses. It will be
an amazing yet challenging hiking trip across some of the most
naturally beautiful areas of Europe - allowing for a real spiritual
experience!
Can
I extend my trip before or after the official pilgrimage???
Yes.
However, you will need approval from your unit/ship Commander
and take additional leave. If you wish to make changes to your
flights and other travel arrangements, please indicate your
intent on the Registration Form. You will be contacted by GuidePost
Travel Corporation to discuss your requirements. Any extension
outside of the official pilgrimages offered by the Catholic
Diocese of the ADF will be the responsibility of the individual.
The Catholic Diocese of the ADF cannot provide support for extended
personal travel.
