THURSDAY, 15 NOVEMBER 2007 - The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) hosted the WYD Cross and Icon for the first time at RAAF Base Edinburgh, just outside Adelaide. The Holy items were entrusted into the care of the men and women of the RAAF at the base's main gates and they were taken to a war memorial on the base for a prayer liturgy led by the RAAF base's Catholic military priest, Fr Pat Woods, and attended by personnel and family of the RAAF.
